We believe in the power of images to tell a story - it’s how we spend our days. So when Youth in Focus came to us for a website redesign, we knew they would be a great client to work with.
Youth In Focus has worked with South Seattle youth for 25 years teaching photography and providing mentorship and an inclusive community for their students. They provide photography classes, summer camps, and a months-long creative cohort program for BIPOC youth to gain skills and experience in creative fields. We’re passionate about BIPOC youth having access to creative fields and couldn’t wait to build a site that could bring more support and attention to YiF’s mission.
We worked with YiF to design a website that highlighted their programs, values, and youth work. During the design process, we learned about YiF’s history and strong ties to the community and brought that knowledge and work into the project. The bright colors and design are perfect for a youth program and there’s lots of room to highlight the youth artists and their work.
